Maximo Quiles was back on the top step of the podium as the rookie secured his third win of the 2025 season.
The Moto3 Rookie of the Year, Maximo Quiles, returned to winning ways for the first time since August as he secured his third Grand Prix victory of his debut season in the Moto3 World Championship.
Angel Piqueras secured his seventh podium of the season with a second place and was able to keep his hopes of finishing second in the Moto3 World Championship alive.
Off the back of his first Grand Prix victory at the Malaysian Grand Prix, Taiyo Furusato took another podium as he finished in third place for the Honda Team Asia at Portimao.
The Red Bull KTM Tech3 replacement rider, Joel Esteban, put together a stellar ride as he finished inside the top five with a fourth-place finish for the French team.
Moto3 rookie, Alvaro Carpe, is still searching for his first Grand Prix victory but was inside the top five once again and finished in fifth place for the Red Bull KTM Ajo squad.
In his third Grand Prix in the Moto3 World Championship, Casey O'Gorman finished in sixth place as a stand-in ride for David Munoz in the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP team.
Despite starting from pole position, Joel Kelso could not challenge for a podium, but the Australian rider was back inside the top ten as he finished in seventh place.
For the second race in a row, Scott Ogden was inside the top ten as he finished in eighth place for the CIP Green Power squad.
Adrian Fernandez was the second Honda rider inside the top ten in the Portuguese Grand Prix, and the Leopard Racing rider finished the day in ninth place.
Completing the top ten was the SIC58 Squadra Corse rider, Luca Lunetta; this was his fifth top ten finish in a row.
