Jose Antonio Rueda was the fastest rider in the evening Practice session at the Lusail International Circuit.
The Moto3 World Championship leader, Jose Antonio Rueda, topped the Friday evening Practice session at the Lusail International Circuit.
The FRINSA - MT Helmets - MSi squad ended the day in second and third place. Ryusei Yamanaka was in second, and Angel Piqueras was in third.
Dennis Foggia finished in fourth place, but ended his day in the gravel trap after being helped off his CFMoto Aspar machine in the latter stages.
The top Honda rider on Friday evening was Riccardo Rossi on the Rivacold Snipers Team machine. The Italian ended the day in fifth place, 0.509 seconds behind Rueda.
In the latter stages of the session, David Munoz managed to secure his way into Q2. The Spaniard ended his day in sixth place and is still searching for his first race finish of the year.
Moto3 rookie Alvaro Carpe was in seventh place at the end of Practice at the Lusail International Circuit.
Honda rounded out the remaining places in the top ten was Taiyo Furusato in eighth, Nicola Carrao in ninth and Luca Lunetta in tenth.
British riders Scott Ogden and Eddie O'Shea missed out on the top ten with Scott Ogden in 11th and Eddie O'Shea in 19th.
