Moto3 San Marino, Free Practice One Results | Jose Antonio Rueda started the weekend on top

Jose Antonio Rueda topped the Moto3 timesheets in Free Practice One at the San Marino Grand Prix for Red Bull KTM Ajo.

In the opening Moto3 session at the San Marino Grand Prix, it was Jose Antonio Rueda who topped the timesheets on the Red Bull KTM Ajo machine.

A further 0.299 seconds behind Rueda was Joel Kelso in second place on the LEVELUP - MTA KTM machine. The Australian has been a consistent points scorer this season, but is searching for his first top-five finish since the French Grand Prix.

The top Honda rider in Free Practice One was the Leopard Racing rider, David Almansa. The Spaniard started his weekend inside the top three as he ended the opening session in third.

After returning to the rostrum at the Catalan Grand Prix, Taiyo Furusato started the San Marino Grand Prix in fourth place for Honda Team Asia.

It has been announced that Dennis Foggia will lose his CFMoto Aspar Team ride next season, but the Italian started the weekend in Misano in a strong way as he was fifth in Free Practice One.

Just outside of the top five was the Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider, Valentin Perrone, in sixth place on the timesheets.

The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP duo were both in the top ten as David Munoz started the weekend in seventh and his rookie teammate, Guido Pini, was in ninth.

In between the Spaniard and Italian was the FRINSA - MT Helmets - MSi rider, Ryusei Yamanaka, in eighth place.

Completing the top ten was the Catalan Grand Prix winner and Moto3 title contender, Angel Piqueras.
