MotoGP bosses have docked 20 minutes from Fabio Quartararo's free practice one track time on Friday after he was found to have broken testing rules.

Quartararo took a Yamaha R1 to Paul Ricard on June 18 and 19 which stewards found to be in contravention of regulations.

The Frenchman will miss the first third of FP1 on Friday at Jerez unless an appeal that he has lodged is successful.

Moto3 rider Sergio Garcia did the same thing at Aragon and has received the same fate.
