MotoGP Germany: Bradl leads as Lorenzo, Crutchlow crash again

LCR Honda's Stefan Bradl charged to the top of the MotoGP free practice timesheet in this afternoon's second session as both Jorge Lorenzo and Cal Crutchlow crashed early on and didn't return to the track.

Reigning champion Lorenzo was spat over the highside of his factory Yamaha at turn ten and landed on his injured shoulder. Although, the Spaniard got up from the incident, he has been taken to the Clinica Mobile for x-rays and initial reports state the plate holding his collarbone together has been dented.

Crutchlow added to his woes from this morning and lost the front at the entrance to the waterfall turn. His Monster Yamaha was unsettled on some bumps and as weight came off the front Bridgestone, it washed out and down went the British rider, tumbling across the gravel. He too has gone to the Clinica for checks on his left wrist.
