MotoGP championship leader Valentino Rossi believes the electronic development freeze brought in at midnight on July 31 will not have any significant effect on the 2015 championship but will affect the balance next season.
The Doctor, who has a ten-point advantage over team-mate Jorge Lorenzo at the top of the table, is not concerned about the freeze in 2015 as his electronics work very well.
“I think it doesn’t change nothing. It will be very interesting, and everybody is very curious, to see what is happen with the electronic of the bike next year. Our one is very good, work very well and I am curious to understand what happens to the bike with the electronics for next year,” said Rossi, speaking at the Sachsenring.
“It will be very important to also understand the balance of the championship but I think we have to wait until the Valencia test but for now, it doesn’t change nothing.”
