SIC58's Tatsuki Suzuki bagged pole for tomorrow's Moto3 race at the Jerez MotoGP round with Andrea Migno in second and Scotland's John McPhee in third.
Suzuki had McPhee for company on his final flying lap as the Petronas rider got tucked in. Suzuki set a 1'45.465 to bag top spot with McPhee in second but he went on for another, faster lap on his own with no tow.
McPhee set a 1'45.772 which looked enough to secure second but Sky VR46's Migno had other ideas, putting in a 1'45.660 to demote McPhee to the outside of the front row.
Youngster Raul Fernandez heads row two with Celestine Vietti and Jeremy Alcoba for company. Championship leader Albert Arenas is in seventh with Rmano Fenati coming from qualifying one to take eighth place.
Gabriel Rodrigo will be disappointed with his ninth place after being fastest at Jerez yesterday while Tony Arbolino completed the top ten after coming through from Q1.
