Britain's Jake Dixon returns to Moto2 action this weekend after a crash ruled him out of the Jerez race.
Dixon suffered a concussion during warm-up and after recording a no-score, the Brit is eager to return to the Le Mans circuit and secure a strong result, especially as he spent a large part of the 2020 race at the French track in the lead.
Although that event did ultimately end in heartbreak, Dixon has shown that he has the potential to come away from the French GP with a good points haul, which would help him improve upon his 17th place in the championship standings.
"I’m feeling fine after the crash at Spanish GP; both my fitness and my neck feel good. I feel like I have recovered well, although of course it wasn’t an ideal end to the last roundm," said Dixon.
"I’m really looking forward to getting to Le Mans, I can’t wait. I love it there! It is one of my favourite tracks, especially after leading the race last year, although it didn’t end how we wanted.
"I think our aim this weekend will be the same as at every Grand Prix: to keep focused, not put any pressure on myself, enjoy riding the bike and then hopefully the results will come."
