Repsol Honda has unveiled its machine for the 2024 MotoGP World Championship season, debuting a fresh new look to mark its first campaign in more than a decade that won't include six-time MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez.
In a departure from tradition, Honda has eschewed its familiar orange, red and white hues in favour of orange, red and blue to be more in-keeping with primary sponsor Repsol, the Spanish oil giant entering into its 30th season as title backer of the factory Honda MotoGP team.

The new look coincides with a new approach from Team HRC as it relies on a revised Spanish and Italian rider line-up with Luca Marini joining Joan Mir.
While still statistically the most successful team and manufacturer to have ever competed in MotoGP/Grand Prix, Honda has been in a steady state of decline since its last world title in 2019, perpetuated by myriad injury woes for Marquez.

Though it took its first win since 2021 last year, albeit via the satellite LCR team and Alex Rins, Honda finished fifth of the five manufacturers competing in MotoGP.
It's a position it doesn't want to find itself in again but HRC General Manager Tetsuhiro Kuwaiti is quietly confident the team will enjoy a breakthrough in 2024.
“2024 is a special year as we celebrate 30 years collaborating with Repsol and enter a new era with renewable fuels. Inside Honda HRC we have been working very hard in order to deliver a package to both Joan Mir and Luca Marini that they can be competitive on.
"Both riders are young, hungry and are already providing clear feedback for further improvements. It will be another season of developments, of working together with our riders, partners, sponsors, engineers and team members as we strive to improve.”
