After four years with the Aspar Team, Jake Dixon will end his time with the team this weekend at the Solidarity Grand Prix.
Jake Dixon made his full-time Moto2 debut in 2019 with the Aspar Team, before he spent two years with Petronas Sprinta Race. The British rider has been with the Aspar Team for four years (2019, 2022-2024) and will end his time with the team this weekend.
During his time at the Aspar Team, the 28-year-old won four races and stood on the podium 16 times. Dixon has been a Moto2 title challenger since his return to the Aspar Team as he has finished sixth, fourth and eighth in the Championship across the last three years.
“It is going to be emotional," Dixon said before the Solidarity Grand Prix. "I will try to enjoy this last race as much as possible, because it will also be a sad weekend. We have been together for four years, including 2019. These last three years have been incredible, with victories, with podiums...
"The Aspar Team has put me on the map, even if the end of this year has not gone as we expected. This is life, this is racing, we couldn't have done more than we have done. The connection with my team, with Kike, Pippo, Stefano, Boris, Maikel... has been very important to me.
"I will give my 100% to try to make it my most memorable weekend with the CFMOTO Aspar Team and I will enjoy every moment before this chapter closes.”
Dixon will join the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team for the 2025 Moto2 World Championship. After spending five years on a Kalex Moto2 chassis Dixon will switch to a Boscoscuro chassis for the first time in his Moto2 career.
