Ahead of his MotoGP debut next season, Toprak Razgatlioglu has BMW's permission to test before the traditional Valencia Test.
For the 2026 season, it is widely known that Toprak Razgatlioglu will make the huge step from World Superbikes to MotoGP.
He is hoping to make the switch as a three-time World Superbike Champion, as he currently leads the way for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team.
Next season, Razgatlioglu faces the daunting task of switching from racing road-based machines to full-on prototype machinery.
The Turkish rider will also be returning to Yamaha after leaving the Japanese manufacturer for BMW in the 2024 World Superbike season.
It has been expected that Razgatlioglu will test the Yamaha M1 at the postseason Valencia test, which is when MotoGP rookies get their first experience on their new bikes.
However, GPOne have reported that Razgatlioglu could get on Yamaha's latest MotoGP bike sooner than expected.
He is contracted to BMW until the end of 2025, but they have no desire to stop him from getting a head start.
BMW know that Razgatlioglu will not be their competition next year anyway, so they are happy to help boost his move into a new paddock, according to GPOne.
The WorldSBK season ends on October 19 in Jerez, so he could test a Yamaha MotoGP bike in November, ahead of the traditional postseason test.
