'After the big crash, we've come back strong' - Toprak Razgatlioglu claimed his fifth hat-trick of the season

Toprak Razgatlioglu had a perfect weekend at Magny-Cours as he claimed a hat-trick of victories for BMW.

The French World Superbike Round was a perfect weekend for Toprak Razgatlioglu as he claimed pole position and secured victory in all three races across Saturday and Sunday.

Despite making it look easy, Razgatlioglu believes it was not an easy weekend, as he was constantly pushing the limit around Magny-Cours.

"It looks like we took everything, but it was not an easy weekend for me," Razgatlioglu told WorldSBK.com.

"Yes, we had a big gap, but also, every lap I am pushing on the limit, and I am trying to set a very strong pace. But in general, we did a very good job in my team, and this is all teamwork."

With nine races left of the 2025 World Superbike season, Razgatlioglu has a 39-point lead in the Championship, but he insists that he is not focused on the Championship.

"This is my favourite track, and in every race I did a very good job," he explained.

"But I am not focused on the Championship, I just focus on winning races. We got another hat-trick again, and now I am just focused on Aragon, because Aragon is very important to me."

Last season at the French World Superbike Round, Razgatlioglu suffered a big crash during Practice and did not compete across the weekend due to injuries.

This season, the two-time Champion bounced back from his 2024 issues and celebrated at the corner where he picked up his injuries.

"After the big crash, this year we have come back very strong," Razgatlioglu stated.

"When I completed the hat-trick, I stopped at that corner and did a burnout, because last year I had my big crash there.

"Before we came here, I had already made a plan for this, and finally I did it, because I was waiting until after the last race."
