Andrea Iannone has twenty days to decide on his future with the Team Pata GoEleven squad amid retirement rumours.
There have been rumours surrounding the future of Andrea Iannone in the World Superbike Championship.
The Italian rider has suggested that he wants to join a factory squad for 2026, but he has also hinted at the idea of retiring from racing if his desire to fight for the title is not met.
Iannone has raced for the Team Pata GoEleven squad for the last season and a half since returning to World Championship racing.
However, there is a chance that the Italian team may replace the Italian rider for next season. There had already been reports that Alessandro Delbianco is in talks with the squad, but according to GPOne, Dominique Aegerter is now also in the discussion.
If Iannone decides to race in the 2026 season, he will take up the majority of the Team Pata GoEleven squad's budget. However, the team does have the option to field a second bike next season if Iannone parts ways with them.
Ducati has told its teams that they have until the end of July to decide how many bikes they will field next season.
As it stands, it appears that the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati squad and Barni Spark Racing Team will field two bikes. It has also been reported that Motocorsa and Marc VDS will only field a single bike, with Bonovo Racing withdrawing from the series.
With the Italian manufacturer putting the pressure on its teams over orders of the new Panigale V4 R for 2026, Iannone will only have until the end of the month to make his decision for the 2026 season.
