'He complains too much...' - Ducati boss slams Toprak Razgatlioglu's Estoril comments

Gold & Goose

Serafino Foti has hit back at Toprak Razgatlioglu after he 'fueled false controversey' at the Estoril World Superbike Round.

After losing out to Nicolo Bulega in Race Two at the Estoril World Superbike Round, Toprak Razgatlioglu told the media about a theory he had come up with.

In the early laps in Race Two, Razgatlioglu was locked in a battle with Alvaro Bautista, Andrea Locatelli, and Andrea Iannone. During this battle, he lost one second to Bulega, who was escaping at the front of the race.

Razgatlioglu went on to accuse his fellow World Superbike riders of 'not respecting the Championship' battle and mainly slammed Team Pata GoEleven Ducati rider, Andrea Iannone.

The Italian made his own response to Razgatlioglu's 'crazy' theory, which was then followed by a response from the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati Team Manager.

"I don't agree with what Toprak [Razgatlioglu] said," Serafino Foti told GPOne after the Estoril World Superbike Round.

"In Race One, just to give an example, Nicolo [Bulega] lost two seconds in the first laps and didn't complain.

"In my opinion, Razgatlioglu is a great Champion and deserves everything he is experiencing, but as soon as something goes wrong he complains too much."

'Every time he doesn't win, there is always a controversy...'

Foti went on to say that Razgatlioglu should focus on the racing and not fueling false controversy, like his rider Nicolo Bulega does when he loses to the Turkish rider.

"In my opinion, this is not good, because you have to be focused without going on to fuel controversies, that simply are not there," he stated.

"Everyone races to win, giving his best, and no one hindered Toprak at the start. Unfortunately, every time he doesn't win, there is always a controversy, while Bulega has never said anything when he came second."

The Aruba.it Racing - Ducati squad are still in the title fight with Nicolo Bulega, as the Italian sits second in the World Superbike Championship. Bulega is 39 points behind Razgatlioglu, and 62 points are up for grabs this weekend at the season finale at Jerez.
