Leon Haslam's 2024 BSB season seemed to be kicking into gear at Donington, where the #91 scored two podium finishes at round three. However, since then, both Knockhill and Snetterton have proven complicated.
At Snetterton last weekend, Haslam paid for both his injuries sustained at Knockhill in his Race 3 high-side, as well as for mechanical issues as he scored only eight points, all collected in Race 1.
“It has been a bit of a tough weekend," Haslam said in review of round five. "The injury from Knockhill has been a bit of an issue but we’ve also had a few mechanicals and a couple of crashes so, obviously, it’s not been a great weekend.
“But these things do sometimes happen and even though it’s not ideal, we now head home where we need to now have a big regroup and move onto Brands in a fortnight.”
Haslam has three career BSB wins on Brands Hatch's GP layout dating back to 2005, the most recent coming on the weekend he was crowned 2018 BSB Champion.
