Aleix Espargaro will be back on the MotoGP grid for the second time this season as he will wildcard at the British Grand Prix.
After wildcarding at the Spanish Grand Prix, Aleix Espargaro will make his second wildcard appearance of the 2025 MotoGP season at Round Seven.
The Spaniard will be back on the grid at the British Grand Prix on the HRC Test Team Honda RC213V at Silverstone.
Espargaro had a successful first appearance of the season at the Spanish Grand Prix as he crossed the line in 14th. However, he was later given a tyre pressure penalty and was relegated to 17th place.
The test bike that Espargaro had used in the Spanish Grand Prix was then used by Joan Mir at the post-race test at the Circuito de Jerez. But this weekend it is in the hands of fellow HRC Test Rider, Takaaki Nakagami, at the French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
Honda has confirmed to our colleagues at Crash.net that Espargaro will make his second appearance of the season at the British Grand Prix. An event where he has had success with Aprilia in the past, as he claimed a podium at Silverstone in 2021, before winning in 2023.
