At Oulton Park, Leon Haslam was able to reveal his 'plan' for the 2026 British Superbike Championship.
After a season with the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing squad, Leon Haslam appears set to remain with the Hampshire-based team for the 2026 season.
Haslam signed with the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing team for the 2025 British Superbike season, making his return to Ducati machinery for the first time since 2007.
The 2025 season has been a successful debut year for Haslam on the Ducati Panigale V4 R, as he returned to winning ways for the first time since 2018, and has featured on seven further podiums.
Three of these eight podium visits came at the penultimate round of the season at Oulton Park, where Haslam finished second in Races One and Two, before ending his weekend in third in Race Three.
"First year back on a Ducati after 15 years, we’ve learnt a lot," Haslam told our colleague Crash.net after Race Three at Oulton Park.
"We had a bit of a slump mid-season with a few little issues, I feel like we’ve rectified a few of them and looking good for next year."
When asked whether that meant he is planning on remaining with Moto Rapido for a second season, Haslam responded: "Yes. That’s the plan."
There is one round left of the 2025 British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch, and Haslam has a slim chance of winning a second British Superbike title.
He is currently 101 points behind Kyle Ryde in the standings, and would need a lot of factors to go in his favour to claim his first Championship since his 2018 British Superbike title.
