Bradley Ray heads to Brands Hatch this weekend (17–19 July) “confident” of being able to challenge for good results at his home round.
Ray had an up-and-down Brands Hatch round a year ago, winning Race 1 but crashing in Race 2 and being off the podium in fourth in Race 3.
It was also a tough Snetterton BSB round two weeks ago (3-5 July) for Ray, who won Race 1 but crashed in Race 2 with Kyle Ryde and took a third in Race 3. He enters Brands Hatch 61 points adrift of Ryde, but feels he’s riding as well as he can.
"I'm looking forward to getting back aboard the McAMS Yamaha R1 at Brands Hatch this weekend – it's a local circuit for me, and one that I've always enjoyed racing at,” he said.
“I know within myself that I haven't ever ridden as hard as I'm riding at the moment, we're pushing so close to the limit every weekend to secure the results that we are, and with a comfortable feeling aboard the R1, I'm confident that we can do the same again this weekend.
“The Brands Hatch weekend will be a pivotal one for the championship, so we'll aim for consistency at the top end of the field and bring home a solid set of results. We're ready again to give it our all, and we've got all the tools we need to fight for wins and podiums.
“This weekend, we'll also be running a special edition livery across the three races in celebration of 30 Years of BSB, which adds another element of excitement heading into the weekend. It's going to be a big one.”
