Dani Pedrosa has been impressed with how Pedro Acosta conducted himself during the 2025 MotoGP season.
The 2025 MotoGP World Championship started in a difficult way for Pedro Acosta, as he did not feature on a podium until the Czech Republic Grand Prix.
However, the Spaniard came into the season expecting to fight for race wins and the World Championship, but that dream ended early in the year.
Acosta was able to 'rewire his mindset' to take KTM back to the sharp end at the conclusion of the 2025 season, which impressed KTM Test Rider and MotoGP Legend, Dani Pedrosa.
"The situation has not been easy; he has had high expectations that we have not achieved," Pedrosa told MotoGP World Feed.
"He had to rewire his mindset, which was the biggest step, trying to build his confidence again, and new hopes. Once, you are aiming to achieve podiums and victories, and it is not happening, it is hard to swallow.
"This was his biggest step in trying to rewire. At the end of the season, he showed how strong he was."
Pedrosa went on to explain that he has been impressed by how Acosta conducts himself on the bike, with how he constantly pushes at the start of each session.
"He is pushing the bike to the limit every metre, whether it is corner entry, turning the bike, or corner exit," he explained.
"One of his strengths is that he his pushing from the start of FP1, he is not checking the situation or the bike, he just goes and tries to achieve his goals. Which is to be in the top part of the standings, and work throughout the weekend, even if he has troubles with the bike."
