The LCR Honda MotoGP team has revealed both of its new liveries for the upcoming 2026 season.
As usual, LCR has split liveries this year, with Johann Zarco continuing with the Castrol title sponsorship he’s had since joining the team in 2024 and rookie Diogo Moreira welcoming Pro Honda to his fairing, Honda’s own lubricants subsidiary coming in to replace Idemitsu which had sponsored that side of the LCR box since Takaaki Nakagami stepped up to MotoGP in 2018.

Moreira got his 2026 MotoGP season off to a decent start in the end at the Sepang Shakedown this week. He started by struggling to break the 2:00 barrier, setting a best time of a 1:59.930 in the first two days, but on the final day he improved to a 1:58.338 to go eighth-fastest and to beat fellow rookie and three-time WorldSBK Champion Toprak Razgatlioglu by 0.1 seconds and two positions, with KTM test rider Dani Pedrosa in between.
Testing for Zarco begins on Tuesday when the official Sepang Test kicks off on 3 February. It will be an important year for the two-time world champion, who has a contract for 2027 with HRC but who could be put under pressure by the improving performance of the Honda RC213V if he is not able to perform well consistently and Honda wants to find space for a younger rider it deems has more potential than the 35-year-old Frenchman.
After Sepang, the final preseason test takes place in Buriram on 21–22 February before the first round of the season at the same location on 27 February – 1 March.
