Kawasaki UK has announced a continuation of its official partnership with Platinum Club Racing for 2026.
The continuation of Platinum Club’s link with Kawasaki UK as the brand's official team at the TT comes with a renewal of its partnership with David Johnson, as well, as the Australian road racer enters a third season with the Lee Hardy-run Kawasaki squad.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be back with Platinum Club Racing and Kawasaki UK,” said Johnson.
“The support from Lee Hardy and the team has been incredible, and I feel we’ve really gelled with them. Last year showed what we are capable of together, and with the new ZX-10RR for 2026, I genuinely believe we can fight for podiums.”
Platinum Club Racing Team Principal Lee Hardy added: “We’re proud to continue our partnership with Kawasaki for 2026. We’ve built something special over the past decade, and Davo’s [David Johnson] progress last season proves the potential is there.
“The new ZX-10RR gives us everything we need to push for podiums and deliver the results we know are achievable.”
Johnson took two top-10 finishes for Platinum Club at last year’s TT, finishing fifth in the only Superbike race of the meeting, before taking a 10th in Superstock Race 2. Johsnon was also 14th in Superstock Race 1.
This year will see Johnson aboard an updated ZX-10RR, complete with the 2026 model’s new winged fairing.
The 2026 Isle of Man TT Races will take place on 25 May – 6 June. Superstock races are scheduled for 30 May and 3 June, while the Superbike TT is scheduled for 31 May and the Senior TT is set to bring race week to an end on 6 June.
