Ex-Sidecar World Champions confirm Isle of Man TT return

Isle of Man TT

Two-time Sidecar World Champions Todd Ellis and Emmanuelle Clement have confirmed their plans for the 2026 Isle of Man TT.

The two will pilot a CES Yamaha backed by Brookland Sand & Aggregates this year for their third crack at the TT road races together, having debuted in 2024.

In 2025, the pair broke the 115mph average speed barrier, and this year they have their sights set on further improvements.

“The last two years have been a massive learning curve for us,” said Ellis.

“With every lap, things are starting to feel more comfortable and we can now look to push on and aim for stronger results.

“It’s shaping up to be an exciting year of racing with the new rules, which should hopefully bring the competition closer and make it all to play for.

“This feels like just the beginning of what could be an exciting next few years.”

Clement added that a podium finish would be a “dream come true”.

“I am a big dreamer, and becoming a two-time World Champion was unbelievable, but I still want more,” she said.

“At the TT, we have made good progress and being not far from the podium is really exciting.

“Finishing on any of those three steps would be another dream come true, so that is the main goal for the years ahead, and it continues to give me great motivation.”

Ellis and Clement are the third high-profile Sidecar pairing to confirm their place at the 2026 TT, after Tim Reeves announced his plans with Melanie Farnier, and John Holden confirmed his return with Phil Hyde as passenger.
