Scott Redding wants “to get back to winning more races” at “fun” Knockhill BSB

Scott Redding says he wants to add to his solitary 2026 BSB victory at Knockhill this weekend (19–21 June).

Redding has never won at Knockhill, but it’s the circuit where he made his return to the BSB in the middle of last year, finishing a best of fourth in Race 1.

The PBM Ducati rider still perhaps has the spectre of his world championship past looming over him in BSB, where the tracks are very specific, and Knockhill certainly doesn’t fit into the style of track that Redding has spent most of his life racing, but it’s nonetheless a circuit that Redding describes as “fun”.

“Knockhill is coming next, we didn’t do the recent test but I am looking forward to the weekend,” said Scott Redding, speaking to BritishSuperbike.com.

“It is a fun track and something different again to most others on the calendar.

“It was where I made my return into BSB last season and we had all sorts of conditions thrown at me.

“I am looking forward to getting back on the bike, as I have been a bit bored over these past few weeks.

“I would like to get back to winning more races. I feel like slowly we are getting there, but Kyle [Ryde] is showing good spirit and speed this year, which means I need to up the game and dial the bike in a little bit more.

“Knockhill is a track that I like, so let’s see what I can do.”

Redding trails Kyle Ryde by 19 points after the opening two rounds, the Nitrous Competitions Ducati rider having won all but one race so far in 2026, the one he missed having been won by Redding.
