MOTOGP BRNO: SICK STONER DOMINATES WET FINAL PRACTICE

Despite having a dicky tummy, Marlboro Ducati's Casey Stoner has obliterated the competition in this morning's soaking wet Brno MotoGP final free practice session.

The Aussie took just four laps to splash his way to the head of the timesheets at the top of the session, putting in an unbeaten 2'09.609 with 16 minutes gone. He was the only man under the 2'10 barrier.

Rizla Suzuki's Chris Vermeulen was second, more than half a second behind Stoner with Alex De Angelis third, 1.3 second adrift.

Fiat Yamaha's Valentino Rossi left it late to take his fifth place and is 1.6s off the pace, just under a tenth behind Shinya Nakano, with Kawasaki's John Hopkins rounding off the second row.

It has been a disaster for Michelin, with the injured Dani Pedrosa mustering up an eighth, Andrea Dovizioso in 11th and the Tech3 Yamaha pair of Colin Edwards and James Toseland occupying the bottom of the table.
