Honda Racing Corporation will show their support for the Eastern Japan area by fielding two wildcards in the Motegi MotoGP race at the beginning of next month.

Kosuke Akiyoshi will line-up alongside Toni Elias in the LCR squad while near-legendary tester Shinichi Itoh gets his own HRC team. The additions mean eight Honda riders will be on the grid for the first time since the blue riband class switched to four strokes.
