British Superbike Evo Champion Glen Richards will join the Honda TT Legends team as a replacement for Cameron Donald who managed to damage his wrist while falling downstairs at his Melbourne home.

Richards, who is no stranger to endurance racing and pushing crashes bikes back to pitlane, will join the team for the final round of the World Championship in Qatar this weekend for the Doha Eight-Hours.

"We are obviously very disappointed that Cameron will not be racing in Qatar this weekend. The good news is that Glen has been able to step in at short notice and is on his way from Australia now. Looking on the positive side, Glen has ridden at the Losail Circuit before, finishing second here in an endurance race, and he has good experience on the Honda Fireblade having won the 2011 BSB Evo Championship on the bike, so he should be a strong addition to the rider line-up," said team boss Neil Tuxworth.
