Wilmax Racing's Dan Linfoot has put himself on the front row for tomorrow's CEV Moto2 race at Valencia tomorrow while fellow Brit John McPhee is on the second row for the 125cc Group A race as the pair lead a three-class Britpack charge.

Linfoot has spent the last few months testing the Wilmax bike, whcih used a 2012 Harris chassis, and getting to grips with the Michelin tyres so qualifying third is a just reward and he is only six tenths of a second slower than series runner-up Carmelo Morales and leader Jordi Torres. Joe Darcey's Kevin Coghlan is in fifth place and only a second in arrears. Irishman Nikki Coates is in 19th place.

McPhee is coming off the back of a points-scoring Grand Prix ride at the track last weekend and sits in seventh while fellow RSF/KRP rider Fraser Rogers is in ninth place and one row behind. British 125cc regular Rob Guiver is on his SP125 Honda in 13th with team-mate Bradley Ray one place behind.

Youngster Kyle Ryde is in the second 125cc group but managed to qualify in eighth place while the third RSF/KRP rider Wayne Ryan is in tenth. Another British championship regular, Phillip Wakefield, is in 14th. David Smith has put his Wild Wolf-BST Kawasaki seventh on the Formula Extreme grid. Jonathan Railton is 19th and Sam Coventry finished in 24th, both riding for the Quelch PGS team.
