Moto2 wunderkind Marc Marquez is continuing with his winter motocross training in Spain and reckons his vision is recovering day by day and it is now back to almost full operating temperature.
Marquez damaged his eye in a big crash at Sepang where he was unceremoniously spat over the highside of his Repsol-backed machine. He has gone under the knife to have the damage repaired and believes he is comfortable enough now to make a return to the track.
"I am happy, because I am feeling a lot better after the operation. I can train motocross now, which is a good sign. I feel safer and now my vision is almost back to 100 per cent - I can see better every week, which is important," said the youngster.
"I feel comfortable enough to get back on track and I am really itching to ride again. We have to take things calmly, but in the meantime I am preparing myself in the gym and on the cycle in order to start my preseason off well."
