Honda's leading Superbike rider Jonathan Rea will line up with tester and occasional MotoGP rider Kousuke Akiyoshi for this year's Suzuka Eight-Hours, slated to take place at the end of July.
Rea, currently third in the World Superbike points table, is now a veteran of the Eight-Hours and moves into the FCC TSR team with which Ryuichi Kiyonari took his fourth win last year. Kiyonari, meanwhile, joins the MuSASHi RT Harc Pro squad alongside Takumi Takahashi and Rea's WSBK team-mate Hiroshi Aoyama.
Swan Yamaha's Tommy Hill will partner his British Superbike team-mate Noriyuki Haga in the YART team along with Kats Nakasuga while the Honda Legends team will take Simon Andrews, John McGuinness, Gary Johnson and Cameron Donald to the Japanese circuit.
