MotoGP Aragon: Crutchlow bemoans lack of 'invaluable' test time

Monster Yamaha Cal Crutchlow is expecting a 'disaster' on Sunday at the Aragon MotoGP round as he believes that Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo will clear off at the Spanish track due to their extra testing miles.

The British rider, who had problem with a steering damper that was broken in his Misano crash, thinks the two title challengers have had invaluable test time at the track and says they will just ride away from the field.

"Sunday is going to be a disaster as you're going to see the guys who tested here for a second time just ride away from the rest because of the track time - it's invaluable at a weekend and it's going to be tough for us to be anywhere near what they're doing," said Crutchlow, speaking at Aragon this evening.

"We should have been a lot faster than we were. Something was broken on the bike and in the full wet at the start, it didn't really make a difference as you're not really hard on the power. As it dried, it got worse and worse. The steering damper was still broken from the crash at Misano and the bike was quite violent, I didn't really know what was wrong with it.

"I think we showed good pace, when it was wet at the start we were at the front, I'm happy enough with that but then it came dry and we had a few problems with the bike in that area."
