MotoGP Sepang: Rossi remembers Marco Simoncelli

Valentino Rossi joined the rest of the MotoGP paddock at Sepang today when they went to the place where Marco Simoncelli lost his life this time last year.

Rossi was joined by Jorge Lorenzo and the rest of the riders to look on as team boss Fausto Gresini installed a plaque at the corner where the larger-than-life Italian fell this time last year. After this there was a moment’s silence, followed by a round of applause, then a two-minute silence

"Like always, it is very strange, but everyone in the paddock come to turn 11 where Marco crashed last year. It was very deep. It is already one year. With these things, it is difficult to understand the time. These things, it always difficult. Like during the normal day, in the paddock, we miss him a lot," said Rossi.
