Thruxton BSB: ‘Bike will be ready for race two’ - Farmer

Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki rider Keith Farmer will be back in action for the second MCE British Superbike at Thruxton, after crashing his bike earlier today.

The youngster ended up veering towards the damp white-line and crashed into the barrier on lap eight, which abruptly ended his race one ambitions. But the rider is remaining optimistic for race two.

“I am good, I just went on the white line, but we have got the pace we just need to relax a bit more and I will get back on it for race two,” said Farmer, speaking to bikesportnews.com at the track.

It is not all bad for the Kawasaki rider, as he will start race two on the front row, after putting in some fast lap times in the first race today.

“We are on the front row in the next race which is good, but the bike will be fixed by then. There is no major damage as the bike’s wheels hit the barrier, so it is just cosmetic damage more than anything.

“I am ok, I have a sore hand but it is nothing major to complain about, so we will get on it for race two, and hopefully bring it home this time.”
