Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez has suffered fractures to his right little finger and right big toe in a monster highside during Assen's third MotoGP free practice this morning.
The young Spaniard was spat off his RC213V at the Ramshoek left-hander - just one corner further on from the scene of Jorge Lorenzo's collarbone crunching crash yesterday.
Reports at the track so far confirm that Marquez will not need surgery on the injuries and will be fit to ride in qualifying this afternoon.
