MotoGP Assen: Crutchlow expecting Lorenzo challenge

Britain's Cal Crutchlow is expecting a challenge from reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo if the works Yamaha man is passed fit to race at Assen's MotoGP round tomorrow.

Crutchlow says that when he broke his own collarbone it made him into a smoother rider, so it might well make Lorenzo even better if he has to smooth out even more than he is already.

"I think there will be five guys at the front, including Jorge if he passes his medical. I hate to see what it does to him because he is already smooth and when I broke my collarbone it turned me into a smoother rider, so if he is even smoother, maybe he goes faster, so maybe we're in the shit," said Crutchlow, speaking at Assen.

"If he is able to ride he will be top five and maybe even the podium. I know him, I know how he works and he probably won't be too bothered with the injury."
