Crutchlow in no rush to sign new MotoGP deal

Britain's Cal Crutchlow confirmed at the Laguna Seca round he is in talks with five different teams about a ride for the 2014 season and not all of them are in the MotoGP World Championship.

He also said he is not going to be making a fast decision and wouldn't expect any deals to be done before MotoGP reconvenes at Indianapolis next month.

"I think I'm in a very strong position. I don't think the result this weekend has changed anything about my future. It's clear we have been fast over the year. If you put my podiums against the podiums of the other guys that are available we have put up a strong challenge," said Crutchlow, speaking at Laguna.

"I don't look at it like it has changed anything. Maybe we will know soon, maybe we won't. I won't be making a fast decision that's guaranteed. In my eyes, it won't be before Indy. It can change in five minutes' time, it can change in a month's time. One team need a little bit of time and I need a little bit of time. We are speaking to five teams and not just in this championship, so we will see what happens."
