MotoGP Indy: Danny Webb loses Moto3 ride

Britain's Danny Webb has lost his Moto3 ride with the Ambrogio Racing Team and will replace Sheridan Morais in the PTR Honda World Supersport team (click here for story).

Webb suffered a broken wrist in his 100th Grand Prix appearance at Le Mans and hasn't ridden since. Ambrogio team management have said they are disappointed with his results and can't see a way forward.

"In virtue of his experience, last winter we believed Danny Webb was the rider to have with us to play a top role in the Moto3 world championship. The team decided to take on the challenge, investing resources and webb himself was given the choice of bike," said team principal Fiorenzo Caponera.

"Halfway through the season, the results are not what was expected and the team cannot see a different prospect. The team thanks Danny for his co-operation and wishes him all the best for his career."
