PBM Aprilia MotoGP rider Yonny Hernandez will switch to the Ignite Ducati team from tomorrow's Misano MotoGP test as a replacement for the injured Ben Spies.
Hernandez has been allowed to make the switch by Bird as Ducati test rider Michele Pirro is not available to do the fly-away rounds as his testing duties take priority over competition. He has substituted for Spies for almost all of the season.
It is not yet clear who Bird will get as a replacement for Hernandez but Damian Cudlin and John Hopkins' names have been both been linked with the spot.
