Former World Superbike star Noriuki Haga may make a return to Grand Prix racing with the Paul Bird team as a replacement for the departed Yonny Hernandez and share duties with Australian Damian Cudlin.
The Samurai of Slide is currently riding in Bird's Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki team as a substitute for Keith Farmer but may get a shot at MotoGP ten years after his last appearance with Aprilia.
Alex Lowes, who has been repeatedly linked with the squad over the last month, would have finished his BSB duties in time for the final two rounds of the championship at Motegi and Valencia but his status with the team is not yet known.
