Honda TT Legends rider Simon Andrews has escaped serious injury in a four-bike crash at the Le Mans 24-Hour this evening.

Andrews got tangled up in the accident between La Chapelle and La Musee. According to his team, the Evesham rider has broken his left ankle and suffered suspected chest injuries. He will undergo X-rays in hospital to determine any further damage.

The team have had to withdraw from the event as their Fireblade was too badly damaged to continue. They were in third place at the time of the crash.
