Honda TT Legends' Simon Andrews is undergoing surgery on the ankle he broke in yesterday four-bike crash at Le Mans which has left him with more serious injuries than were first diagnosed last night.

Andrews got tangled up in the accident between La Musee and La Chapelle corners and after an extensive examination in hospital, he has a catalogue of injuries including two broken legs, a broken forearm and shoulder, broken ribs causing a punctured lung and three broken vertebrae in his lower back.
