Britain's Danny Kent says he needs to adapt his riding style back to the new KTM Moto3 but is positive after two good tests at Jerez and Almeria.
The youngster, who moved back to his old Red Bull Ajo squad after a difficult season in Moto2 this year, will now have to wait until the winter testing ban ends in February before he can do any more work.
"These two days of testing in Almeria have not been at all bad. The truth is that in the early stages we struggled a bit, because it's a tricky circuit and quite difficult to learn," said Kent.
"However, the final conclusions from these two days are very good. My team and I worked hard and we found the right direction to take, and I feel more comfortable. The lap times were not the most important thing, because it was a time to try all kinds of setups.
"As I said in Jerez, I think that now I have to adapt my riding style to this new KTM bike, particularly when cornering. Every day I feel better on the bike and more recovered from my injury. I believe we have taken another step forward."
