Husqvarna’s Danny Kent says he took a major step forward with setup on day two of Moto3 testing at Valencia and dropped his laptime by more than a second to finish in sixth place.
The Kent rider, who is third fastest on combined times, is three-tenths off fastest man Niccolo Antonelli on an identical KTM with Jack Miller, also KTM, only a fraction slower than the Italian.
"This second day was much better than yesterday, because in addition to significantly improving our times, we also did so with my feeling with the bike, and that's the main thing. There are still some things that we can improve on, so we can lower our times,” said Kent.
“I'm a little tired today, but I hope to be good for tomorrow. The truth is that today has been a major step forward from yesterday. I don’t think we can change many more settings for the bike, so now we shall add more miles to the clock and it is I who will be improving."
