MotoGP Argentina: ‘We need to improve in practice’ - Kent

Husqvarna’s Moto3 star Danny Kent says he must improve his performance during the three free practice session in order to start achieving podium spots in the tiddler class, beginning with this weekend’s Argentine MotoGP round.

The youngster, who switched back to the smaller class from Moto2 this year, has struggled a little in the opening two races but knows what he must do to get back to the top and the Rio Honda circuit is new for everyone.

"We are going to need to be strong, because jet lag leaves me tired and it is important to adapt quickly to be at 100% as soon as possible. All I know about this new track is what I’ve gathered from the internet, some maps and some videos of races here. It looks good and seems to be very fast. However, we need to check it out in person and undertake the first few laps to see what really lies ahead,” said Kent.

“We need to improve in practice. We have to try to be faster and more comfortable, and also focus on finding a good setting because the bike works and has potential. We need to keep taking steps forward and look for at least a five finish."
