Andrea Dovizioso has signed a new two-year deal to remain with the Ducati MotoGP squad until the end of the 2016 season.
Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali made the announcement today at the World Ducati Week festival.
"I'm particularly happy to be able to announce right here in front of our fans the renewal of the contract with Andrea Dovizioso, who will remain a rider with the Ducati Team for the next two seasons," said Domenicali.
Dovizioso said: "We’ve reached an agreement and this is because it’s an interesting project which is beginning to bear fruit with the arrival of (Luigi) Dall’Igna. We’ve had two podiums already this season and we are fourth in the World Championship. The current situation is really exciting, especially with the plans for 2015 in mind.”
