Go&Fun Honda boss Fausto Gresini has flatly denied he is in talks to switch from HRC-backed machinery to a new Aprilia and expects a new deal to be done with the Japanese manufacturer soon.
Gresini added that he also expects Britain’s Scott Redding to take the place of Alvaro Bautista on the RC213V although Redding himself today said there was ‘a lot of talk…’
“No, we are not speaking nothing with Aprilia. Many people have said this to me but frankly speaking, I am not. It’s clear now I fix everything with Honda, no problem, we are talking this week. The cost of the bike is part of the problem but we can solve, and it is clear that Scott will be on the Factory bike,” said Gresini, speaking at Brno today.
