Scotland’s John McPhee has branded MarcVDS Moto3 rider ‘an idiot’ after he and the Spanish rider clashed for the second meeting in a row and McPhee ended up in the gravel again.
At Indianapolis, the pair came together early on but Navarro survived. Today, however, both riders ended up in the kitty litter and McPhee was ever-so-slightly dischuffed.
“Navarro is in idiot, it is as simple as that. It was a stupid move. I know he is new to the class but come on, he needs to have a little bit of sense and he is not riding with any,” said McPhee, on his return to pitlane.
“He came right around the outside of three or four of us, I was on the inside and felt comfortable. He kept tipping in. We made contact and I was trying to squeeze the brake to keep it turning.
“I felt the contact and he kept tipping in and tipping in, and tipped in that far he caught my front wheel and took it away. That’s the second race in a row he has taken me out, it’s not on.”
