Scott Redding’s former Moto2 team MarcVDS have this evening confirmed on Twitter he will return to the team in 2015 as they move into the MotoGP class.
It is thought the squad have secured the spare Factory RC213V vacated by Redding’s current employers Gresini Racing in a three-year deal with HRC but that has not yet been confirmed.
The Tweet read: "MarcVDS will move to MotoGP in 2015, with Scott Redding returning to the MarcVDS Racing family. We look forward to welcoming him back!"
This means Britain now has three riders on works machinery for 2015 and there is space for Leon Camier and Eugene Laverty to take up positions at Aspar, Forward Yamaha or Pramac Ducati...
More when we get it.
