MotoGP riders will again have the choice of intermediate tyres in 2016 after bosses ratified their return for next season.
In the Bridgestone control-tyre era, there were either slick or wet options of various compounds but some riders complained that when the weather is inclement, they were forced to stay in the garage.
Michelin will add inters to their allocation when the season stars at Losail with three front and rear available. Riders will also now have 22 tyres to use over a weekend, split 10/12 front and rear.
