Nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi believes that MotoGP could be strewn with eight-rider battles for the win if laptimes on the final day of Sepang's MotoGP test are anything to go by.
After another day of evaluation in Malaysia, the top 13 riders were all under the 2'00 mark with Aleix Espargaro the last of them still only 1.1s off the pace.
"It looks like six, seven or maybe eight riders have more-or-less the same pace. So if the race started tomorrow maybe you can see a Moto3 race," said The Doctor, speaking at Sepang.
"This is important. Can be fun. Also because anyway we are in the top group. But we know we still have to work. We have to improve."
