Danny Buchan arrives in Scotland for Round 4 of the 2023 British Superbike Championship looking to rediscover the form that has made him a multiple race winner at Knockhill in previous years.
Buchan ended his long wait for a win in BSB at Knockhill in 2019 aboard the FS-3 Kawasaki amid a campaign that took him to the Title Showdown for the first time.
Two years later he was a winner again - this time in two of the three races - in only his second outing with the SYNETIQ TAS Racing team in what was BMW's first BSB wins since 2017.
After an injury sustained in a high-speed crash at the Silverstone opener ruled him out of the following Oulton Park round, Buchan - now back to full fitness - is hoping Knockhill will prove a happy hunting ground for him once more

"I was quite pleased to get up to speed relatively quickly and I was done to competitive times pretty much after lap 15, so that was good for us as we had a few new parts to test, so it meant that we could get to work straight away on those.
“It was scorching so it was good for us to be able to run a consistent, fast pace considering the heat. In the morning of day two it was a complete contrast and colder and the bike felt good in those conditions too, so I left the test confident and comfortable.
"Especially after a disappointing Donington Park, it was nice to get back to Knockhill and to be quick and consistent.
“It bodes well for the race weekend, I love Knockhill and always look forward to going back there as the track really suits my style and the way I ride the bike. I am looking forward to having a good go there and to start trying to get some points back in the championship.”
